On 8th July, Hertfordshire Rail Tours ran a Steam Special to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the end of steam in the Southern Region. The fully booked train, The Waterloo Sunset, was hauled by 35028 Clan Line. The locomotive performed perfectly and the train would have run to time but for hold-ups caused by other rail traffic. Here are a few pictures of the event.
