The 27th April 2012 was a day for Clan Line to escape from the South East of England and head West hauling the UK Railtours tour to the Swanage Railway Preserved Line. The weather was kind and the photographers were out in force. Here is a small selection of the many pictures that were sent to our webmaster.

In British Railways days Bulleid’s Merchants were not allowed on the Swanage Line due to weight restrictions. After 60 years or so 35028 finally made it to the end of the line:

While the passengers enjoy the sights of Swanage, the crew and support team have to work hard to ensure that those same passengers enjoy their ride home.
