The Society’s Magazine, Southern Express, is a “Members Only” publication but its pages give an insight to the Society and the running and performance of the locomotive which may be of interest to a wider audience. It contains the regular “Locomotive Report” written by the Society’s Chief Mechanical Engineer which has occasionally been published separately within this web.
